New Program notification Balloon.... can it be customised ?
hi guys, quick one, the "new program" balloon that displays in the system tray if you allow notifications to users in the program of the package, can this at all be customised? It is quite small and "unnoticable". I'm about to do a rollout of Office 2007 and want an initial non-mandatory assigment to allow users time to install at their convenience, with a forced assignment coming after a period of time.I realise the balloon will pop up at log on and reboot but I would really like to change the colour to yellow or something like that to catch the users eye a bit more ! It does not look like this is possible from my initial searching but thought I'd ask here as well. I realise I could have a package do this on a schedule or something like that , but was wondering if I could tweak in SCCM itself?thanks for the help all, regardsdoug

Hi Doug,We use a method where we hide the program notification and instead call our own notification application. the notification app. can be customized with your own logo, text, counter etc. - http://blog.coretech.dk/confmgr07/config-mgr-tools/coretech-auto-install-warning-freeware/Kent Agerlund | http://scug.dk/members/Agerlund/default.aspx | The Danish community for System Center products
