New Collection
That collection already exists as "All Workstations or Professional Systems". This collection is all workstations and excludes servers? Do you have this collection? http://www.sccm-tools.com http://sms-hints-tricks.blogspot.com

I'm sorry, but I'm not sure if I understand the question. I *think* what you want to do is this. When you create a new collection, when you click on the * to create a new query inside that new collection, at the bottom you can "Limit to" another collection. In your case, "Limit to" the 'All workstations or Professional Systems" collection, then proceed to create your query, like "where system resource, Netbios name Like ABC%" The results would be that the new collection contains only machines that start with ABC in their name, AND already exist in the 'All workstations or Professional Systems' collection. If that's not what you meant, please clarify.Standardize. Simplify. Automate.

You can create the collection's membership rule query like this: select * from sms_r_system where OperatingSystemNameAndVersion like 'Microsoft Windows NT%WorkStation%' Thanks

You have to use a subselect / not in query: http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jgilbert/archive/2008/07/22/subselect-queries-the-easy-way.aspxTorsten Meringer | http://www.mssccmfaq.de
