Hello - There are several factors involved in this. But First of all I would never recommend to have 5 minutes policy Polling internal. How are you advertising the TS? What is the Discovery schedule? What is collection update schedule?Anoop C Nair - This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees, and confers no rights. |Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. HI An00p, I advertise the TS, right click on TS advertise and complete the New advertisemnt wizard, the Discovery Schedule Occurs every 1 hour(s) 12:00 AM and the collection update schedule Occurs every 1 day(s) 3:00 AM, I have a doubt about this "never recommend to have 5 minutes policy Polling internal" Why not? Thanks for your help!

Why not? Simple, you can over load our MP. Nothing less than 15 minutes is recommend and even that can be too much for many setups. Why every 5 minutes, particularly when the collection only get updated at 3 am! Why set AD discovery to 1 hours, when the collection get update at 3 am? What version fo CM are you using? http://www.enhansoft.com/

OK Garth, I changed the policy Polling internal to 15 minutes, I'm using Version: 4.00.6487.2000 and which is the best configuration of the AD Discovery and the Collections updates? I need that the adverstisement (OSD) can be show on the client machines in 20 minutes or less.

For your requirment for 20 minutes or less for the TS to be delivered, is that a one-off/on-demand scenario or site wide? For OSD, the most common is that this type of requirment is a one-time situation requested by a tech. In those cases, the tech can force a policy refresh locally from the ConfigMgr control panel aplet or you can force one remotely using the right-click tools, Roger Zander's Client Center, or using the SDK.Jason | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jsandys | Twitter @JasonSandys
