Network discovery 2012 doesn't work when I use objectid filter
Hi I try to discover all Cisco device in my network. I created recursive discovery rule, add some main Cisco devices. Then I insert "Include Filter" and defined Object ID as "1.3.6.1.4.1.9.*" This discovery didn't find any device except devices defened in section "Devices" If I use Object ID as "*" i find huge number differnet network devices. But I need only Cisco! Alex

Thanks But I have read it. Include only network devices with the following system attributes (OIDs) Object ID (OID) Include Filters page, Addbutton, when configuring a recursive discovery rule If you enter a value here, only devices with a matching OID are discovered. This field allows a wildcard format. For more options, see IP Address Range for Network Device Filtering. But still have the problem to discover only Cisco devices. As I said, if I use filter 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.* I have discovered nothing.
