Network Discovery - Can it use script?
For network discovery in SCCM 2007, can we use script to do the discovery? Is there an option to allow choosing a script to run when doing the discovery?Valuable skills are not learned, learned skills aren't valuable.

I dont think so you can use any kind of scripts to discover the devices on the network. What are you trying to discover using network disocvery ? do you want to manage other than computers using SCCM ? Well, this is a question that is asked in the SCCM class, as it introduces the network discovery method. So, student is asking whether scripted discovery is possible.Valuable skills are not learned, learned skills aren't valuable.

Guess a script can be used as you can also just create your own DDRs manually or scripted, combine a discovery script with a DDR creation script.Follow me through my blog and Twitter!
