Is it possible to nest SharePoint Groups???

Seems to me that you CAN next groups in AD (and then import into SP?)Sharepoint groups CANT be nested.http://guru-web.blogspot.com/2007/10/difference-between-sharepoint-and-ad.html

well I know that you can in AD. I was just seeing if someone knew of a cool trick to nest sharepoint groups.

If we nest the AD groups and give permission to that newly nested group in SharePoint site then is that actually give permission to each member to the SharePoint site?
