I am using SCCM 2012 R2.

All of the PCs are Win7x86/x64.

I need to uninstall the following:

• Lync 2010
• Office 2010 (x86, x64, ProPlus, Standard. There are some x64 PCs with x86 Office version)

I need to install the following:

• Lync 2013
• Office 2013 (Standard x86(at x86 PCs)/x64(at x64 pcs))

For support purpose I need to know how is the uninstall process for both products, and need to know how is the install process for both products.

I need to get PCs with 2013 version products as soon as possible. (minimize the number of deployments)

Here's the way to do this.

1) Configure application for Lync 2010

2) Configure application for Lync 2013

3) Configure Lync 2013 application to supersede the Lync 2010

4) Deploy Lync 2013

So basically you are creating an application for Lync 2010 and using the supersedence (so that Lync 2013 supersedes Lync 2010).

Why you need to deploy 64-bit Office? Even Microsoft doesn't recommend that, unless you're doing some massive Excel spreadsheets. I'd go only with the 32-bit version. Office 2013 includes Lync so you don't need a separate application for that.

The Lync 2010 applicacion is the .exe file only with /silent /uninstall parameters.

I have another question: What option to select? ("Do not replace", or the deployment type of Lync2013 application).

I need help with uninstalling Lync2010, Install Lync 2013 and how to configure supensedence.

What's your detection method for both? Does the installation/uninstallation commands work when you run them from the command line? Why aren't you deploying Lync 2013 with Office 2013 instead of separating them?
