Hi Team, Generally one will get below error message on a web browser while accessing a SharePoint site say "abc.contoso.com" if the host name "abc*" or domain name "contoso.com*" is not excluded in a Proxy Server Exceptions list of Internet Explorer for Network that contains Proxy Server. Error : "Network Error A communication error occurred: "" The Web Server may be down, too busy, or experiencing other problems preventing it from responding to requests. You may wish to try again at a later time". I need to know if there is any way we can access "abc.contoso.com" without excluding URL in Proxy Server Exceptions list for Network that contains Proxy Server. Problem: Above is a problem in a large SharePoint farm environment if the number of web applications increases then the organizations cannot exclude those many names in the Proxy Server Exceptions list as IE 7,8 provide maximum character length in proxy exception list is 1024. IE: 8 SharePoint 2010 Highly appreciate for any inputs on this. Thanks Manas
