Need suggestion Logfilegrowth
Thank You Biswas
Keeping the DB in Simple mode is not good as per my knowledge( Point in time recovery is not possible). Instead of that take the backup of logs in continous intervals is prefarable. Please add the commets.

Hi All
Server details
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition
ServicePack2 4GB of RAM
SQL Server2005
In our Sharepoint application, some of the LDF files size are reached to >20 GB.
To save the memory i performed the Shrinking and able to save the space.
Now my question is, is it the right way to perform Shrink the DB when LDF size is more. If not can people suggest me that how to save the memory with out shrinking the DB.
These are the steps i followed before shrinking
1.Took Fullbackup of DB.
2.BACKUP LOG WITH TRUNCATE_ONLY.
3.DBCC SHRINKFILE
Waiting for valuable replies

You should keep the database in simple mode. This will greatly reduce the size of your log files.
Thanks,
