Are you trying to install SQL Server? You are running an exe file that installs a service pack. You need to install SQL Server first before you can install a service pack.MCTS, MCITP - Please mark posts as answered where appropriate. Answer #1: Have you tried turning it off and on again? OK. First a few questions: 1. You are sure it is MS SQL Server 2005, because your topic title says MySQL, which is a different database vendor 2. Why SQL Server 2005 and not 2008? 3. Why do you need Enterprise edition? 4. Have you already purchased something?MCTS, MCITP - Please mark posts as answered where appropriate. Answer #1: Have you tried turning it off and on again? I cannot provide you with a version, you need to purchase it or download it. You can use the SQL Server 2008 Developer edition, which has all the features of the Enterprise edition and it is free as long as you use it for development. You cannot use it a production environment. There is also a free Express edition, which has a limited set of features. Maybe that will cover your needs. You can find it here: http://www.microsoft.com/sqlserver/en/us/editions/express.aspxMCTS, MCITP - Please mark posts as answered where appropriate. sir, btw is this already the developer edition? No, the developer edition is the full blown edition of SQL Server. Express only has a limited set of features. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc645993.aspxMCTS, MCITP - Please mark posts as answered where appropriate.
