I am wondering if it is possible to set something in the RDL document that will cause a excel generated report to have named ranges? I am trying to build unit testing for my report output and I want to be able to determine where in the report the differences occur. We are thinking that down the road, if we change the report header all of 500 reports will fail and having a named range will help make it easier to determine if the changes are only in an isolated area to make it easier to update benchmarks. Also I have created a report and exported it to excel using a Report Server BI project and the report has a named range for Print_Titles for the report header. I can't find this in the RDL document anywhere. Is this controllable? Is this the rendering extension setting the value. SSRS 2008 R2 Thanks
