NTLMv2 authentication
I am trying to set up SCE in a highly secure environment. Among the security lockdown policies I must use, there is one that restricts authentication to NTLMv2.Will restricting NTLMv2 authentication break SCE? I am having intermittent communication failures with some of my clients after the lockdown policies are applied - I see all my clients in the console but about half of them are not reporting inventory. I suspect its due to our lockdown polcies, and I'm working to test this but knowing about NTLMv2 in particular would be helpful. Thanks !

Hello Patrick,I didn't heard there's any conflict between SCE and NTLMv2. What is the status of the agents in the Computer space? What is the exact failure information? Is there any firewall that could block the communication? If yes, please follow the article below to check if all necessary ports were opened: How to Change Windows Firewall Exceptions for System Center Essentialshttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb437377.aspxHope it helps,Yog Li - MSFT
