If you have a file wall in place you must allow port 100 to communicate over you LAN. Ports 80, 8080 and 443 are almost always open and ready. Can you switch to port 8080 for your new application? If not look into opening port 100. FYI - If that port 100 is closed you shouldn't be able to get to if from the server you are hosting in on or any other PC on the LAN. Try and hit http://127.0.0.1:100 from the web front end server and see if that works, if it does then that port is closed on the server or firewall. but again request that port number open and make sure nothing else is using it. Use this link to make sure you don't use a port already reserved by another network service. http://www.webopedia.com/quick_ref/portnumbers.aspKris Wagner, MVP, MCITP, MCTS Twitter @sharepointkris Blog: http://www.sharepointkris.com/blog
