Multiple servers in farm?
Hello Community Do all of the Sharepoint Servers in the Sharepoint farm have to be on Domain Controllers? Thank you Shabeaut

Hi, If i understand your question correctly, In SharePoint Farm setup every server needs to be domain controller ? are you looking answer for this. No need to be domain controller any of the Sharepoint server in the farm setup. If the question is different maket it clear. Regards

In fact it's almost certainly a better set-up if the DCs are on different servers to the servers with SharePoint.SP 2010 "FAQ" (mainly useful links): http://wssv4faq.mindsharp.com/default.aspx WSS3/MOSS FAQ (FAQ and Links) http://wssv3faq.mindsharp.com/default.aspx Both also have links to extensive book lists and to (free) on-line chapters

Hello Nehruraj The reason I am asking is because I am under the impression that Active Directory is necessary to run Sharepoint. Isn't that true? Thank you Shabeaut
