Hi,
If i understand your question correctly, In SharePoint Farm setup every server needs to be domain controller ? are you looking answer for this.
No need to be domain controller any of the Sharepoint server in the farm setup.

In fact it's almost certainly a better set-up if the DCs are on different servers to the servers with SharePoint.SP 2010 "FAQ" (mainly useful links):
http://wssv4faq.mindsharp.com/default.aspx
WSS3/MOSS FAQ (FAQ and Links) http://wssv3faq.mindsharp.com/default.aspx
Both also have links to extensive book lists and to (free) on-line chapters

Hello Nehruraj
The reason I am asking is because I am under the impression that Active Directory
is necessary to run Sharepoint. Isn't that true?
Thank you

Hello Mike Walsh Fin
Why is it better for Sharepoint to be on different server than DC's?
Thank you
