Multiple Sharepoint site design
Hello All, My company uses standard license MOSS2007 in our corporate network. There is another network “production” that corporate users do not have access to. I would like to create an additional site in production network using my existing standard license. The purpose if this is to limit corporate users access or even to see the site. Is that possible? I don’t have a deep knowledge of a SharePoint so forgive my lingo and please provide details when responding. Thank you in advance

Is this a question about SharePoint licensing or about how to create a site with security to limit it to selected users? If you have a single SharePoint installation and want to create a new site(s) that only select users have access to, then this is pretty straight forward, depending on the level of security you need. If you are asking about creating a new SharePoint installation on a second set of servers, then you will need to purchase additional licenses for that farm. > I don’t have a deep knowledge of a SharePoint Both questions should be directed to your SharePoint administrators. They will know the details of your installation and licensing. Mike Smith TechTrainingNotes.blogspot.com
