Hi there, We have a multiline textbox field in one of the forms. So when user try to add/modify the data to that particular field of the form from FormLibrary, i am getting error "This field can have no more than 255 characters." I am wonderring that the field is multiline, how is it still putting the limit of 255 characters. Where should i change the settings to increase the limit. Thanks in advance!

It seems you are using "Single Line of Text" type field, that is why you are not able to enter more than 255 character field. It is better if you use "Multiple lines of text" field. Please confirmAshish Kanoongo, MCP, MCSD, MCTS

Are you facing this problem in document library or all the lists? If you are facing only in document library then open your field in edit mode from document library setting and set "Yes" to "Allow unlimited length in document libraries" settings, however the column will then have to be plain text (no rich text or rich text with images).
