I have a publishing site with numerous .aspx pages that contain numerous hyperlinks to numerous files in a document library. I would like to relocate selected documents from the document library to a new document library on a different site in the same site collection. How do I move the documents without breaking the links in the .aspx pages? If I was staying in the same site I could use "Site Content and Structure" to do a "Move" but the destination site does not show up in the site/folder list on the left side.

I know I can't use explorer view to drag and drop because the hyperlinks to the documents will not be updated to the destination URL. is there a stsadmin switch for this?

Hi clouds61, I have did some tests, it seems that it is not feasible to move documents between different sites without breaking the links in the .aspx pages. At least there is not an OOTB solution for this purpose. Thanks & Regards, Peng Lei
