Moving Sharepoint from AD to LDAP security
We have a Sharepoint 2007 system that has been successfully running for a few years. Due to corp. changes we are being asked to stop using the current Active Directory for authentication / authorization and start using the new corp. LDAP store. We have successfully set it up to use it but now I have the old users accessing the system via AD and new users accessing the system via LADP. I want to overlay the AD users with their mapped LDAP user credentials so that we can have "Bob" come in on a Monday and use his LDAP credentails and have the system the same as it was when he loged in before using the AD credentials. Basically, I want to find and replace everywhere that uses "Bob's" AD id with his new LDAP id. Anyone know of a technique to do this?

Hi, You could import profiles using the import setting described in the article. To configure profile import with LDAP http://www.codedigest.com/Articles/Sharepoint/94_Active_Directory_for_FBA_in_SharePoint_using_LDAP.aspx Thanks VV

Thank you. However, this only gets me in lock step with LDAP. What I really need is a way to retrofit the SP data store so that a user in the new LDAP is mapped to a previously know user from AD. Theya re the same person, they are just known to the system as two different users based on their seperate set of credentials in each security provider.
