Moving SharePoint Database Files to a Different Drive
We need to move all of our MOSS 2007 databases (Config, CA, Content DBs, SSPs, etc..) data and log files from one drive to a different drive on the same 2005 SQL Server. Knowing how SharePoint is picky about its own databases, I'm not sure if the usual SQL detach/attach is the right way. The articles from MS that I saw on the interenet talk about moving the databases to a different server but nothing on moving to a different drive on the same SQL box. Could anyone please provide me with some assistance with this? Does MS have any recommendations? Many thanks.

Hi, Detach the database, move the two files to the new location, and then reattach the database.
