Move files problem.
I am trying to move some files from one folder to another. I have two file connection managers which point to the movefrom folder and the moveto folder. I set up the file system task editor with the destination connection set to the moveto connection
(overwrite set to false) and the dource connection set to the movefrom connection. The operation is set to Move directory. When i run the flow i get the error:
[File System Task] Error: An error occurred with the following error message: "Cannot create a file when that file already exists.
"
However, if i change the system task to copy directory everything works as expected! I would rather not use this method as it requires me to then go and delete the originals!
Any idea what is going wrong?
cheers

Since you Set overwrite to false
thats why its giving you error
if you'll set to TRUE it'll overwrite with source files to destination.

I thought it was moving the contents of the directory not the directory itself!
