Move MOSS 2007 configuration and content databases from SQL2003 to SQL2008R2 server
I have two (2) part question; Here is our set up: 1. We are currently running SharePoint 2007 on SQL2003. We have to move from SQL 2003 to SQL 2008R2. Can someone help with the process? 2. We have to move the SharePoint 2007 applications to another server. Can someone help? At the current time we are staying with SharePoint 2007 for our Intranet.

Hi, - Back up or copy the databases and then migrate the data to the new SQL Server 2008. You have option in sql to get back and restore to other server. Please follow the same thread http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/el-GR/sharepointadmin/thread/f06d7d24-5bf8-4c43-a5e2-fadbd78c06ee Hope it could help.
