Since updates about 2 weeks ago, the mouse pointer pulsates between hourglass and pointer continuously while Word 2010 program is open. Only occurs in Word 2010 and using Windows 7 64 bit. Started with basic USB mouse and continues with a change to a wireless microsoft optical mouse 2.0A with latest software and all windows and office update installed.

I realize that this may be the wrong forum but since this was the closest description to my problem as well I thought I would update with a resolution. Changing the default printer, as stated here, resolved this issue for me. absolutezero273c
