Most files in cache are empty
Hi, I want to deploy a package, but it is waiting for content for several days. I have checked my DP, and all the files are there. I have checked the client cache, all the files are there, but almost every file has a size of 0 bytes. With my other packages I have no problem. Any idea how to solve this? Thanks in advance.

Can you check that the boundaries are configured correctly. On the clients check the locationservices.log file and check if any distribution points are being returned to the client.Kent Agerlund | http://scug.dk/members/Agerlund/default.aspx | The Danish community for System Center products

Boundaries looks oke. I have the whole AD-site, it contains only 1 subnet. I can also not find any strange message in the locationservices.log file. I have a few other packages, wich are installed without any problem. The package contains 24742 files. In the cache the whole file-structure is there, and there are also 24742 files, but almost everu file has a size of 0 bytes, and has a name like bit31ff.tmp

That has been discussed numerous times here in the forums. Use bitsadmin.exe to get details of the download job. It's most likely caused by a DP running on Server 2008 (see http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc431377.aspx -> applicationhost.config) or a directory called "bin" inside the package (that can also be configured in that file / hiddensegments).

During the install of SCM i followed the instructions on http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc431377.aspx. Now I have checked this again, and it looked OK. However, after 1 day waiting it is still the same. When you have any clou, please let me know.
