Monthly Patchday with SCCM
Hello, i need to deploy Patches on the Saturday after Microsoft releases the patches, which is the 2.nd Wednesday (Germany) every month. I created the Collections with Maintenance Windows whicht are scheduled to the 2.nd Saturday of a month. This worked fine for January, February and March but this won´t work for April due to the fact that the 13.th is the 2.nd Wednesday but the 16.th is the 3.rd Saturday in this Month. Maintenance Windows can be scheduled by day, weeks etc, but nothinig will work to ensure that the Saturday after Patchrelease will be used for installing the patches I am looking for an Idea do get this done automatically because i dont want to change all my Collections during the Year. This has been discussed here a few times before. At the moment you can't create a relative maintenance window in ConfigMgr.Kent Agerlund | My blogs: http://blog.coretech.dk/author/kea/ and http://scug.dk/ | Twitter @Agerlund | Linkedin: /kentagerlund

I don't know about popular, but the only real workaround is to create/modify new maintenance windows every month when you perofrm your normal update activities. It's the only way to control exactly what is going to happen.Jason | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jsandys | Twitter @JasonSandys

I thought this would be the solution :( . It´s just wasting time every month to modify the Maintenance Windows. Thanks and have a nice Weekend .. Greets Markus
