There are number of monitoring tools for SharePoint and I am looking for our experts her to help me with their suggestions.

We have 2007, and 2013 and would like to monitor these servers along with the databases for any anomalies.

Besides using SharePoint own tool/logs to monitor SharePoint farm health, you may want to check System Center Operations Manager, here are two articles aobut this topic you can take a look.
