Hi TCrowell, This alert is being generated by the rule 'WMI Probe Module Execution Failure'. Andit is an known issue of SCE 2007 SP1, which scheduled to be addressed in the future version of SCE release. You can safely ignore this issue. As a temporary workaround, you can also disable the Rule which generates the alerts by following these steps: 1. Open SCE console and navigate to Authoring pane; 2. Expand Rules and find a rule named "WMI Probe Module Execution Failure"; 3. Right-click it and choose Overrides -> Disable the Rule -> For all objects of type: Agent. Hope it helps.

Hi, I think they are the same problem. You can disable the same rule. Please post back if you still get the same error.

Hi Yog Li, I couldn't find "For all objects of type: Agent" under Overrides -> Disable the Rule. So instead, I use "For all objects of another type..." and search for Agent. However, that didn't seem to help. By the way, those are Warning messages, not Errors. I don't know if that makes a difference. Thanks!!

Hi, I have installed SCOM R2 and getting this "WMI Probe Module Execution Failure:" warning alert. My question is that is this fixed in R2 or the issue still persist with this release also.. Regards Rakesh
