Mixed Exchange environment
Hi! We have a mixed environment of Exchange 2003 and 2007. I'm having problems configuring the AD MA. If I choose no provisioning I cannot provision to Exchange 2007, but if I choose 2007 I cannot provision to Exchange 2003. I cannot find best practice for this. Have anyone tried this? Thanks.

When you have a mixed exchange 2003 and Exchange 2007 environment, you should treat your environment as Exchange 2003. While provisioning exchange 2007 and 2010 uses powershell, Exchange 2003 is done using attribute synchronization. The easiest way to deal with your issue is to use ExchangeUtils.CreateMailbox which is the function that will set all your needed attributes to create exchange 2003 mailbox. This function will require you to use ILM 2007 fashion provisioning by writing MV Extension code. If you want to use FIM codeless provisioning, you need to identify all the attributes you need to simulate what ExchangeUtils.CreateMailbox do in the background.
