Missing drivers on OSD - Intel(R) 82579V

Hi All,

I am having some issues when trying to deploy Windows 7 using SCCM 2012 R2. The TS is completing without any Graphical Errors however it does not join the Laptop to the Domain. When I check device manager I find that the Ethernet Controller doesn't have any drivers installed for it.

I have download the drivers from Samsung's (Laptop Manufacturer) website and from Intel's website and am using 2 seperate Driver install methods to attempt to get them installed.

I have the TS running an Apply Driver Package task as well as an Apply Device Drivers task. Both of which have the required drivers in them but neither seem to install it.

When I check through the SMSTS.log file I am finding that the TS is identifying the NIC as a 82579V, which is correct, but when installing the Drivers it attempts to find and install the drivers for the 82579LM controller. Which gets the Failed to Resolve Content for Driver "" 0x80040102 error code.

Here is a link to the SMSTS log if anyone can have a look and help me out: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3193655/smsts.log

Thanks in advanced for the assistance.

Install Windows 7 manually to the device and use this tool https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/ConfigMgr-Driver-Injector-aae7d17d to capture the needed drivers for it. Import the captured drivers into ConfigMgr and create a driver package for that device model. Use WMI filter (do apply the correct driver package for the model in case) and Apply Driver Package -step during your task sequence. More on using WMI filter can be found here http://www.techygeekshome.co.uk/2012/10/install-drivers-by-computer-model-using.html
