After the upgrade from 8.1 pro to 10 pro, icons have gone missing and do not show on my taskbar, at all - nor does the clock show.

I am using Start10 to bring back some start menu functionality, but it was like this before I installed Start10 anyway.

Furthermore, the taskbar flickers as it hides/unhides.

I ran a clean install on Wednesday night of Win 10 Pro (Amazon download).

It was working well until today when I downloaded a word file and immediately the taskbar started quickly flashing/flickering.

When I opened the file the taskbar disappeared completely and I found the file opened against a black background.

It's working correctly again now - but am just waiting for it to act screwy again with something else.

I'm still without a fix. Just grand.
