Hello, In researching this issue I have read numerous articles about word docs, emails, etc. losing their metadata when uploaded to SharePiont but my problem is the reverse. We have a picture library, a document library etc. We have added metadata to the files and in SP 2007 all is well. Next step is a user downloads the image to their desktop to use. Now perhaps I am doing it wrong but if I right click >> properties >> Details tab I do not see my metadata? In case it matters in SP I have created several custom columns such as license type and was expecting to see that transfer through? Am I doing something wrong or are my expectations out of wack?
