Missing Labels in Chart
I have a line chart that has several series, and it routinely leaves off 1 or 2 point labels on the lastX-axis. Is anyone else experiencing this? If so, does anyone know what the cause is, and is there a fix? Thanks! BobP

There is a setting in the X-Axis tab for major and minor interval. Try setting one of them to 1.

They are both set to 1 and still no labels. BobP

I am missing point labels (on bar charts) too, seems to happen when there are an odd number of instances of a grouping on the x axis. It is always the last bar that is missing the point label too. Is this a bug in SSRS, or a misunderstanding on my part?

One way around this is to turn on margins on the x-axis. -- Robert

I've got the same problem and have the following settings on: - Major Gridlines switchedOFF - Minor Gridlines switchedOFF - Scale Minimum set to 0 - Side Margins ON Looking at my dataset it return 23 labels. Unfortunately it only displays 12 labels but does have 23 label tick marks. I've tried all the combinations mentionedabove(intervals, margins etc.) and no combination seems to get it to work. Any other ideas? Thanks Matt

I have turned on the margins on the x-axis. Also, set the Major Gridlines interval to 1. Still, labels for some of the bars are missing. For ex: If I had 30 bars, labels were shown for only 10 bars.

Same problem here. When i get more labels than can fit on a page,it leaves the label off! so20 bars = 10 labels.

I was experiencing the same problem with line and bar charts. I am using SSRS 2008. The margin setting did not work. Here is what I did to fix the problem:1. Right-click on the X axis and choose "Axis Properties". A dialog titled "Category Axis Properties" should appear.2. Click on the "Axis Options" menu option on the Left.3. In the "Set Axis Scale and Style" section you should see an option labeled "Interval:". More than likely it is set to Auto. Below that there is a checkbox labeled "Enable variable interval". Check that box.4. In the "Interval" dropdown above that checkbox enter 1.That fixed the problem. The others that have replied to the post helped me find it. Thanks!

Question I have the same problem. But my problem is to get the first "right-click" to get the axis property. Could you explain to me what I should right-click. Currently I use Microsof Visual Studio 2008, and whem I am in design mode, if I click on the X axis it's the hole control I click-on. Could you help me. Thanks
