Missing Document Library?
I'm the only user of 10 sharepoint document libraries packed full of files (ranging from 800 to 13,000 items in each library) and all contain several levels of folders. Today, one library (entitled ADMIN) has completely disappeared. I mean it is nowhere to be found. The only evidence I have of it ever having existed is that the recycle bin still has several files that were deleted previously and the Original Location shows it to have been /ADMIN (or /Admin/subfolder1, /Admin/subfolder1/subfolder2, etc...) I seem to remember that a few days earlier I was deleting some files in this /ADMIN folder, specifically, /ADMIN/Telecommunications/Nextel/Tools, and the power cut out on the server while it was deleting several subfolders under ../Tools. I've had instances where an exchange public folder has enter a "dirty state", and cleaning it up restored access to the folder so that it could be placed back on line. --- Does such a thing exist for Sharepoint or is this information simply gone? The other nine libraries are working just fine.

You may have inadvertently orphaned the site, perhaps following some of the guidance here would help as STSADM has commands to help you: http://stabilissolutions.blogspot.com/2009/02/sharepoint-2007-orphan-sites.html Alternatively, build a recovery farm and use your log ship data and any backups to get acess to the missing site, and manually transfer it back over.
