Migrating from wss2.0 to MOSS 2007
Hi, i am planning to migrate a site on wss2.0 on one server to MOSS 2007 on another server. please suggest me whether i doing the right thing below 1. I will save the site as site template with out content. 2. i will take the backup of the content databse of this site on wss2.0 3. restore the backup of content database to MOSS environment 4. i will create a site in MOSS 2007 with the saved site template and point the content datbase to the restored content database. would the above approach work for me? kindly suggest if there are any other approaches. i have tried to save the site template with content but it shows site sizes is too large. also tried STSADM –o setproperty –pn max-template-document-size –pv 524288000 but this throws me a commandline error, i guess stsadm in wss2.0 doesnt support max-template-document-size your help is appreciated Christian
