Regarding #2, the Integration Services Package Migration Wizard does not migrate ActiveX scripts associated with steps in the DTS packages. The wizard does also not migrate ActiveX Script code that access the DTS object model through the Parent property of the GlobalVariables collection in DTS packages. In both situations, you need to manually edit the resulting SSIS package to restore former behavior. For more information about know issues, see "Known DTS Package Migration Issues" (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms143496.aspx ). You may also find this technical article helpful -- "Migrating DTS Packages to Integration Services" (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc768544(SQL.100).aspx ) Regarding #1, assuming that you've resolved any migration issues and the migrated packages run successfully, the usual considerations apply when moving packages from one server to another. For example, package configuration paths can become invalid when packages are moved from development environments to production environments. Carla Sabotta
