Hi, Is this possible to migrate Usage STATS on MOSS to a different set of servers ( Same url, same application. new servers) Recently we had migrated MOSS 2007 to new data center. In new DC, we have set up new servers and farm and attached the content DB's and evrything is working perfectly. However users are requesting Old Usage Stats to be available in new DC, Is this possible?

Hi NishadIBM, I’m very interested in this problem, and it’s a new question to me, so I have did a lot of search about it. But after a lot of search work, I did not find any relevant information. It seems that this is not feasible and the designer do not want you to be able to migrate it. According to my understanding, Usage Logs depends on the records of events that have occurred. You can’t create records if no events occur(In this case, I think migration can be understood as creating). If you can create or migrate Logs for a server, it will lose the original purpose of Usage Logs. "Fixed", is the intention of Usage Logs. Thanks & Regards, Peng Lei
