Microsoft Hyper-V Network Switch Default Miniport corrupt driver

Hello,

It seems this question has been asked before but with regard to setting up virtualization or something similar. I am not trying to do anything with virtualization I am just using windows 8.1 pro as usual. This error has not always been on the computer and since it has shown up my BIOS time has been 4x what it was. Tried uninstalling the driver and scanning for hardware changes. As mentioned I am running windows 8.1 pro on a toshiba satelite, Intel i7-3630Qm, 8gb ram, samsung evo ssd. Below are the details on the error. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi,

According to your error message, please reinstall the driver to resolve it.

Open Device Manager and find it under Network Adapters. Remove it from here and restart your computer.
Open Device Manager, click Action, and then click Scan for hardware changes. Follow the instructions to complete the reinstallation.
