My requirement is to have a Microfilm/Microfiche Scanner which is integrated with sharepoint. I want to know how this would be acheived, whether any utility to be installed or via any coding techniques are there to this.Please advice. Thanks Rem M.Apn

There re dedicated products to help with this such as Kofax Capture and products from Docuementum like EMC Application Exteder. The issue is typically that you need to convert microfiche into indexable images, if you can do that then the search engine can index them, there are libraries and components to help you: http://www.accusoft.com/scanfixworkflowrelease.htm ...You are best off looking at the third party market for this type of thing than trying to do it yourself.
