Message ID 5203, No new machine discovered
Hello, I am facing a problem with my sccm 2007 sp2, it was working fine and any new computer join to the domain appear in the all system collection. Now if I join any new computer to the domain, the sccm can't discover it, the old machines are fine. I tried to force the AD system discovery by check on "run full discovery as soon as possible" but with no luck I check the status messages and I found warning message ID 5203 any suggestion? Thanks

Could this be a DNS issue? Please check if the machines in question are correctly registered with DNS. AD System Discovery relies on DNS for Name resolution to contact the machines.Miguel Rodriguez

I checked it, No errors but there are warnings: WARN: Could not get property (domain) for system (0x80005010) INFO: DDR was written for system

INFO: DDR was written for system Indicates that a data discovery record was written successfully? So the client was discovered successfully. Any chance that there is a backlog in the inbox (\auth\ddm.box)?Torsten Meringer | http://www.mssccmfaq.de

See http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb892790.aspx and check if there are many unprocessed files or in \BAD_DDRs in the inbox I mentioned before.Torsten Meringer | http://www.mssccmfaq.de
