Merge two separate SCCM 2012 environment into one

Due to new acquisition, we need to merge two separate SCCM 2012 environment into one.

How can we achieve that and what are all the prerequisite?

One environment has SCCM 2012 R2 - It has 1 CAS and 3 Primary site servers

&

another one has SCCM 2012 SP1(this will be uplifted to R2 within one month) - It has 1 CAS and 4 Primary site servers

Is this possible to merge?

I would export/import the needed object (packages, application, TS) from one site.

I would remove the boundary from the SP1 site and add them to R2

I would redirect and update the client from the SP1 and redirect them to R2.

I would shutdown the SP1 site.

It's a rough plan... But mainly reassign your clients and you'll be fine.

Edit : You add the CAS information afterward... do you need to keep the CAS ? How many clients will you be mana

Hi,

You can use the builtin Migration feature as well to migrate Packages, Task Sequence et.c. from one SCCM 2012 sp1 or later site to another. Could be  an option aswell depending on namning conventions and the amoun of objects.
