Maximum file size we can upload in sharepoint.
Hi,I am having a query.Maximum file that can be uploaded in SharePoint document library is 2GB, as this is SQL Limit also.Am i right?If yes, thandoes this limitationexists for bothcustom uploadweb partor using the default upload of document library?Thanks,Samagra

Hi Samagra,Yes, you are right.If you write your own custom upload web part and you save the file for instance on a network share, instead of in a SharePoint document library you can upload bigger files. But if your custom web partuploads files into a SharePointdocument library it won't work for files bigger than 2GB.Mirjam www.sharepointblogs.com/mirjam

Like Mirjam say limit is 2GB here some configuration you could have to configure to increase upload limit.
