Manually deleting an SCCM policy from client computers
Does anyone know if it is possible to remove a policy from client computers via a batch script? I have found the advertisement on the client in the WMI repository. What I would like to do is create a script that I could use as a startup or logon script to remove the policy. Here is some background info on the problem: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/configmgrosd/thread/9579b481-89f2-4a38-aa2b-af72039f1a22

Sounds like you got a mess on your hands. When you remove a client from an collection or remove the advertisement the policy will be removed. Unfortunately it may be too late for that. As those suggested in the other post make sure the files are not available. Personally I would probably call support on this one, it's not worth the risk of crashing all your computers. This reminds me of the story Johan tells in his sessions about the guy who accidently formatted the hard drives of 10's of thousands of machines with SMS. This is a prime example of why you should keep you lab and production environments totally seperate and why you should always bring in an expert to help with SCCM or get some training before deploying it into production.
