Manual removal of System Center Essential 2007 from Active Directory
I have an instance where the server hard drive has crashed. The server is no longer accessible and all data on it has been lost.I need to remove that server from Active Directory in order to proceed with a new install of System Center Essentials. (If I try to build a new server and run the setup.exe, it queries AD and sees an existing instance and will not proceed)What is the procedure to manually remove a System Center Essentials 2007 from Active Directory so I can build a new server to take its place? Is there a removal tool or detailed list of items to remove?I found this article but it assumes you can load the OS.http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb437343.aspxAny help is greatly appreciated, Thanks!!I found this blog post that was very helpful.http://erickoo.wordpress.com/2009/09/01/how-to-reinstall-system-center-essentials-2007/
