Management servers going to warning state
Hi All, our Management servers going to warning state whenever we installed SCOM agent on abcd.microsoft.com computer. When we checked health explorer found below error. Operations Manager has received data for management group 'PROD' from health service abcd.microsoft.com. This health service is attempting to send data from or about health service dd042028-38cf-11bf-bade-e505a4c816ce but is not authorized to do so. The data has been discarded. This may indicate an attack on this health service, or it may be a result of configuration not being in sync across management servers. Because this event may occur frequently, it will be suppressed for the next 5 minutes. Please help me how to fix this issue.

Is proxying enabled on node abcd? We enable proxying on ALL of our agents because so many MPs (NLB, Clustering, SQL, Exchange) require it."Fear disturbs your concentration"

Remove the agent from your environment and wait at least two days before trying again. If it still goes wrong, just report back. Regards, Marc Klaver http://jama00.wordpress.com/

Not having the proxy enabled when it should, would generate a different error message: Details:Health service (<servername>) should not generate data about this managed type (<class>) object Id ( 0044C3FE-7770-7DD7-1C51-670A4D09713E ). I have seen the reported error on "corrupted" installations that made the management servers mess up when reinstalled too soon. Waiting at least two days after de-installing will ensure all "old" installation data about the agent is removed. Regards, Marc Klaver http://jama00.wordpress.com/
