I would like to install the Management pack of Office365 on our Scom 2012 environment, but problem is we have Server operating system on which this is installed is Server 2008.

can someone suggest if the installation works or what alternate solution do i have ?

There is no problem for your to install Office 365 MP on MS which OS is win 2008. The main point is

The Office 365 Management Pack for Operations Manager is designed for the following versions of System Center Operations Manager:
System Center Operations Manager 2012
System Center Operations Manager 2012 SP1
System Center Operations Manager 2012 R2

Thank you for your response - when I look into the download URL, I could see that Server 2012 is required.

if I understand you correctly - so we can install the MP on Server 2008 as well ? if so - I guess we need to upgrade the scom to latest version ?
