Making binding between SharePoint 2013 and OWA server

Hi

We have SharePoint 2013 farm and I want to make a binding connection to our OWA servers in our network.
I followed Technet article to prepare SharePoint and OWA servers.  but in our environment, OWA farm are installed and managed by Server team and not by same SharePoint team.  so our SharePoint farm and OWA farm have different administrative accounts.

My question is in order for me to make a binding from SharePoint to OWA server using a SharePoint admin account, what permission this SharePoint admin account will need on OWA farm?

Thanks in advance for any advice / comment

You need to login to the SharePoint server using System account. This account does not need any access on OWA farm. OWA farm is enabled to be used anonymously, by default.

You can refer below article for steps to run on SP server side:

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your quick respond. That explained it why I couldn't find any information on TechNet about what permission require for SharePoint and OWA

That would be nice if it just menioned anonimous :)

Cool
