Hi.
As more and more menus are added to SharePoint, it causes a horizontal scroll bar to appear, meaning folks will have to scroll left/right in order to get to their chosen menu which is really annoying. There are now 22 menu items so you can imagine all the left/right scrolling taking place!
How can I make this menu appear on two/three lines which will prevent the horizontal scroll bar to appear? Or even to have some menu items collated in a drop-down menu?
I have managed to create a .css file and placed it into the SiteAssets folder. I also activated some features etc. as per this video and managed to follow the video and get it working, but only in the "Branding Area". I cannot replicate this for the menu bar at all.
From all my research, which have now reached an impasse, I now have something like this in the .css file but it has no effect at all.
.ms-core-listMenu-horizontalBox li.static > .ms-core-listMenu-item{
width:100%;
If anyone can, please kindly point me in the right direction.
NOTE: There is no "Edit Links" which I can easily use to accomplish this as the theme used is not one of the "supported" ones, regrettably.
