Maintenance window
I set one time maintenance windows for microsoft patches unknowingly that the maintenance windows also affect other scheduled software pushes. I have a scheduled mandatory weekly reboot for a collection and because of the maintenance window I set for the microsoft updates, the weekly reboot fails to run outside of maintenance window. My question is that if now I delete the maintenance window, will the reboot start right away or will it start at the next week cycle? Thanks.

That's good to know because the PCs in the mentioned collection have to be restarted at a specific time frame when the impact to customer care is low so because it fails this week then it needs to wait till next week cycle. So does this mean before I remove the maintence window I need to delete the old recurring weekly mandatory reboot advertisement and recreate a new recurring weekly reboot advertisement starting next week to avoid the PCs from being rebooted asap?

Instead of deleting the reboot advertisement, you could just disable the advertisement this week, remove the maintenance window and re-enable it next week when a reboot is required and leave it enabled. Regards, Madan
