Mail App doesn't work with GoDaddy's Office 365

Just upgraded my office computer last night and am trying desperately not to return to Thunderbird and use Windows 10 programs exclusively...

Adding an Office 365 account purchased through Godaddy in the mail app redirects to GoDaddy's login page for the password. When the password is put in, the box goes white with a "#" in the upper left corner of the box.  There is no network activity or resource usage.  The app appears to just stop.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Wait, I'm confused... you have an Office 365 subscription where you have installed Outlook 2013 on your computer?  Is that correct?

I must be missing something here, but where in the OP is Outlook 2013
mentioned at all? The OP clearly states that he's trying to use the inbox

Hi,

First, would you please test if you can login Mail app with other account?

If it also stops working, it should be the app issue. Please try this command in powershell to repair:

Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

If the issue still persists, post back the event log as below:
