Hi All,

We have a SCCM environment with only 1 Primary site. The site server is in US & manages desktop which are present in US & India office. This site manages around 200 clients in which around 100 clients are Windows 7. We are patching these clients using an ADR which run on Patch Tuesday. The deployment schedule is set to as soon as possible & the deadline time is set to 7 days after the deployment. We have also created a maintenance windows for the Windows 7 Machine collection which is set to run every day after work hours. The thing which i wanted to know is which time the site server takes for Update deployment/Update Deadline/Maintenance window - Is it the client local time or the UTC time or the site server time ?

We are facing some issue with the Windows 7 client which re-starts outside the maintenance windows SCCM shows this message :-

According to my understanding :-

1. The SCCM client download the updates from SCCM Server during the maintenance window.

2. The SCCM client then installs the updates during the maintenance window.

3. Client restarts the machine during the maintenance window.

Please, correct me if i am wrong.

How can i stop the machines from unexpected restart, Please suggest.

Yes, I know this is an old post, but Im trying to clean them up. Did you solve this problem, if so what was the solution?
