MachineObjectOU / Customsettings.ini
I have a quick question aboutMachineObjectOU What if the value contains spaces? Our OU's can contain spaces.... Does that require any special handling for setting up Customsettings.ini? For example: MachineObjectOU=OU=AK2,OU=Standard Workstations,OU=Computers,OU=Auckland,OU=AM,DC=domain,DC=com Will that work successfully? Thanks! Eric

Just try and you'll see ... If it does not work, I would try using MachineObjectOU="OU=AK2,OU=Standard Workstations,OU=Computers,OU=Auckland,OU=AM,DC=domain,DC=com"

I have done this in this syntax: MachineObjectOU=OU=AK2,OU=Standard Workstations,OU=Computers,OU=Auckland,OU=AM,DC=domain,DC=com and my BDD.log is reporting that it set the property MACHINEOBJECTOU to the correct one. Although this is not working when the installation is done. It inhibits it from joining the domain altogether.

Have you tried entering it as Torsten proposed? MachineObjectOU="OU=AK2,OU=Standard Workstations,OU=Computers,OU=Auckland,OU=AM,DC=domain,DC=com" With " in the syntax? Regards, Jörgen-- visit my System center blog at http://ccmexec.com --
